EARTH CITY, MO June 20, 2007   MMS – A Medical Supply Company announces the promotion of Geri Lamano to the position of Director of Equipment Sales for MMS.  This is a new position and the first with sales accountability across all MMS divisions.    Ms. Lamano will direct the strategic growth of medical equipment sales in MMS’s acute care, long-term-care, physicians, hospice, home care and specialty medical markets.

Ms. Lamano has been heading the Equipment Department for the Eastern Division, acquired by MMS in 2006, for more than ten years.   She will now be bringing her expertise in medical equipment and strong Vendor relationships to the rest of the MMS team.  Her responsibilities include supporting the Sales team with training, sales tools and market specific equipment programs. 

MMS’s increased emphasis on equipment leverages the successful model Ms. Lamano and her team have developed in the Eastern Region.  The Eastern Division not only supplies replacement products, but has developed a consultative service that assists Customers in defining and executing equipment sourcing as an integral part of facility expansions or renovations.   The MMS Equipment Department works cross functionally in a facility to assure that capital purchases meet clinical, logistical and financial goals and timelines.
